Reverend Philip G. Landry, Pastor
Welcome to the St. Francis of Assisi Parish web site. You have reached the end of your search for a friendly church!
The ministry of Pastor, Staff, and Lay Support Ministry is based on Luke 15:11-32. This is a story that is usually called the Prodigal Son. It is full of the richness of God’s Love and his Forgiveness. It is a story of the dramatic impact of forgiveness. Everything we do is based on this concept of Love and Forgiveness.
Steeped in a rich and vibrant history of service and growth, St. Francis has been serving the needs of Catholics for over 110 years and welcomes young and old from all walks of life into our spiritual and social community. St. Francis prides itself on being a “family-friendly church” and is one of the few area churches that do not contain a “crying room” however there is an area for parents to go with their children if they so choose. We believe that all members of our church community both young and old are important in the celebration of the Mass.
We invite you to learn more about the Parish through exploring this web site. Please visit the section about “Our Parish” to learn more about the church and its rich traditions. You can also learn about all of the wonderful ministries available to our parishioners in our “Ministries” area. Some of the many ways that you can become involved include being a Eucharistic Minister and Lector, singing in our Choir, or becoming involved in our Seniors Group. This only scratches the surface of what is available. There is even a special Children’s Ministry for our younger parishioners which is called the Children’s Church.
If you have not yet registered, we invite you to join our Parish Community by filling out our on-line registration form. Someone from our Outreach Group will contact you shortly thereafter. As one family, we pray together, serve each other, socialize and have fun.
Thanks for visiting us!
